Eventually this web site will be the gateway to sharing several of our major activities with family and friends. At present it includes only the web logs of our various cruises aboard our 25’ C Dory Cosmic C. These include our trial cruise from Cutter Marine on the Chesapeak Bay to Pine Tree Island, our summer retreat on the St. Lawrence River, via Lake Champlain and Montreal, our Great Loop cruise, and shorter cruises around the Rideaux Canal Loop and to the Western Erie Canal. The Great Loop, the circum-navigation of the eastern third of the United States, was the major experience. We left Pine Tree Island on August 8, 2006 and nearly two years, five legs, and 5948 miles later, the Cosmic C crossed her wake on June 14, 2008, completing a wonderful adventure. We hope you will share the excitement and pleasure we got from visiting new places and meeting new people on some of the waterways of this country.
